Position of the venetian blinds between insulated double glazing prevents any physical intervention. It
also ensures that blinds are not dusted, contaminated and affected by weather conditions. Thus, it does
not require any maintenance and cleaning.
All of our Integrated Venetian Blind systems are seamlessly applied to all kinds and brands of joineries
as well as facade systems.
Another significant feature of Slick Group in terms of quality which sets it apart from other companies
is the fact that no holes have to be made on the glass in any system. Drilling a hole on the glass may
create serious problems in terms of insulation and therefore is not an application method which we
recommend.
The Venetian blind slats come in two different widths, 12.5 mm and 16.0 mm. The slats “Hunter Douglas”
recommends for insulated double glazing and which have a superior quality due to the “Non-Fogging”
feature are the slats with the width of 12.5 mm. The warranty for the systems created with 12.5 mm slats
is 5 years and they have a more elegant look. The systems created with 16.0 mm slats have a warranty of
2 years. On the other hand 16.0 mm slats are more economical.
Magnetic mechanism in the headrail in the glazing is moved by pulling the magnetic external unit chain fixed on the glazing. In this way, venetian blinds can have both raising/lowering and tilting functions. If the glass is thicker than 4mm or bigger than 2 m² , high headrail version is used. In case slats with the width of 12.5 mm are preferred; interior glass thickness of 4 mm – air gap (interstitial space including the double sided tapes) of 22 mm– exterior glass thickness of 4 mm , in total 30 mm thickness for the unit. In case slats with the width of 16.0 mm are preferred; interior glass thickness of 4 mm – air gap (interstitial space including the double sided tapes) of 24 mm – exterior glass thickness of 4 mm , in total 32 mm thickness for the unit. All kinds of qualified glass types (Low-E, tempered, laminated, etc.) and thickness (5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm etc.) can be used. External unit dimensions: Width: 6,3 cm / Height: 3,5 cm / Thickness: 2,5 cm The height of the headrail: 5,6 cm Minimum width: 30 cm / Maximum sqm: 6 m² / Maximum glass thickness: 10 mm Argon gas is filled between double glazing in all of our products. Argon gas both increases heat insulation and ensures smooth operation of the system which we install.
Roller mechanism in the headrail in the glazing is moved by pulling the cord sticking out of the glazing
bead. In this way, venetian blinds can have both raising/lowering and tilting functions.
A strainer is mounted to the lower part of glazing bead so that the cord can stand tense.

Magnetic mechanism between the double glazing is moved by moving the button fixed on glazing
upward-downward. In this way, venetian blinds can have only tilting function.
For this system, if you inform us in advance, you can place the button at any height you want.
Button Magnetic System (Model 2) and Button Magnetic System (Model 3) have the same working principles.
The difference is only in appearance.
Button systems are often preferred in living spaces such as offices, hotels, hospitals and schools where
human traffic is heavy. In such places, raising/lowering function of the venetian blinds is often not
desired.
